Information We Collect
Fins For Grins may collect information you provide when you contact us, place an order, request service, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with our website. This information may include your name, email address, phone number, billing or shipping information, order information, and the contents of messages you send to us.
If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if provided), the type of inquiry, your tank or project size, and your message. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we receive your email address.
If you send us an order from our website, we receive the items in your cart, your name, email address, phone number, whether you want store pickup or shipping, your shipping address if you choose shipping, and any note you add. We review the order and, once we confirm it, email you an invoice that you pay online. Your payment is not taken on our website when you place the order.

Our website and service providers may collect technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, referring pages, pages viewed, and similar usage information through cookies and related technologies.

Payments
You pay for website orders on an invoice page hosted by Square, our payment provider, not on our website. Square handles your payment information according to its own privacy and security practices. Fins For Grins does not store full payment card numbers through this website.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, process payments, deliver orders, provide communications, analyze site use, or perform other business functions. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction.
Services We Use
We use the following services to run our website and store. Each handles information under its own privacy policy.
- Wix hosts our website and images, stores the messages and email addresses you send through our forms, and sends the emails our website sends: the alert we receive when you place an order, and the sign-in link if you sign in to your account.
- Square keeps our customer records, orders and invoices, sends your invoice, processes payments, and handles online ordering, appointment booking and gift cards. When you pay an invoice or book, you are on Square's pages.
- Cloudflare runs the service that prices your cart, creates your order and invoice in Square, and looks up your orders when you sign in. It receives the items in your cart, your contact details, your pickup or shipping choice and your shipping address.
- Google provides Analytics and Tag Manager, an embedded map on our Visit page, the Google reviews we display, and fonts used on some pages. Google may receive information such as your IP address when these load.
- Links to other sites, such as TikTok, are governed by those sites' own policies.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, which buttons and links are clicked, whether a contact form is started or sent, and how far a visitor gets in the shop (viewing a product, adding to the cart, starting checkout). These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and approximate location. We use this information to improve the website and our services. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Information Stored on Your Device
Your shopping cart and a saved copy of our product list are stored in your browser's local storage so your cart is there when you return. This stays on your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
If you sign in to your account, we also set a cookie in your browser that keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. It is needed for the account to work, and signing out or clearing your cookies removes it.
Customer Accounts
You do not need an account to buy from us. If you have ordered before, you can sign in on our website to see your orders and invoices and to fill in your details at checkout. There is no password: you enter your email address and, if we have orders under it, we email you a one-time sign-in link that works for 15 minutes. Anyone who can open email sent to that address can sign in, so please keep your email account secure.
After you sign in, the account page shows your name, email address, phone number, address, orders and invoices from our Square customer records. We use this only to show it to you and to save you retyping it at checkout. You can sign out at any time, and you can ask us to correct or delete your information.
Marketing Communications
If you receive promotional email or text communications from us, you may use the unsubscribe or opt-out instructions provided with the message where applicable.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No website, network, or electronic storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children without appropriate authorization.
Your Choices
You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided to us, request corrections or deletion, or ask questions about our privacy practices. We may need to keep some records, such as past orders, for business and legal reasons. Certain rights may depend on applicable law.
