Species Profile: Golden Mbuna (Melanochromis auratus)

A striking Lake Malawi mbuna also known as the Auratus. Golden Mbuna are hardy but highly territorial, so they need a large rocky aquarium, hard alkaline water, strong filtration, and carefully chosen cichlid tank mates.
